作品的靈感來自於人們的網上形象。2000年左右開始流行網上聊天室(可與朋友或陌生人視像對話的多點網上會議電腦程式)。在那裡許多人都只展現部分身體,他們最想看的就是性器官,甚至只是陽具,那時覺得很奇怪,用一個性器官去代表一個人?他們最想看的就是對方的性器官,於是文晶瑩就製作了一個陰道人,去問女人是否只是一堆肉?在錄像裡面,慧慧就像一般女人生活著。配合她的外型,就算做平常的事,都有很荒誕的效果。作品嘗試挑戰性別定型,用解構的方法去看女性在文化社會方面的形象,並開展一個富想像的空間。

This work is inspired by the body presentation of people on online chatrooms. Around 2000, online chat rooms netmeeting (a computer program for multi-point videoconferencing) became popular. Many people showed only part of their bodies there (e.g. penis). It looks strange to use a sex organ to represent a person. What they want to see most is the sex organs. Therefore, Phoebe Man made a walking vagina and asked if women are just a bunch of meat? In the video, Rati lives like a normal woman. In line with her appearance, even if she does ordinary things, it has a very absurd effect. The work tries to challenge gender stereotypes, uses deconstructive methods to see the image of women in cultural and social aspects, and develops an imaginative space.

Edited by Hong Kong Museum of Art, the book 'Hong Kong Experience . Hong Kong Experiment ' (2020) includes the work "Rati" in page 180. It says, "The concept of Rati was developed from her another work Online Chatroom in which Phoebe dresses as a walking vulva, Rati. " Phoebe does not have another art work called "Online Chatroom". The work cited in this book is a work created after this video work. This work is inspired by new technology, not inspired by another work. This book also says the artist dresses up as a walking vulva. In fact, most of the time it was dressed up by a friend of the artist. Phoebe was in charge of the directing and shooting.
