97 Reunification, I am very happy... 「
The art work was inspired by the banners on the streets during the handover period. The exaggerated happy statements were kind of weird for lots of local people. Looking at these repeated empty statements, one might wonder if they will make mistakes if they continue to say it again and again. If some of the words were missing, the meanings of the words can be the opposite. It will not be "happy" anymore, it will be "angry". The installation is a play of Chinese characters and tried to build a relatively overwhelming breathless atmosphere.
